Edmonton is the political capital of Alberta with a population in excess of one million people and rapidly growing. The city is firmly committed to its creed of multiculturalism and has the most diversified population in the country. Edmonton’s residents are highly educated with over 50% of them having completed post-secondary education. This comes as no surprise given the city’s ten universities and colleges.
